Lawn Maintenance & Landscape Technician

Vandygriff Services is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and delivering quality results for customers, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Lawn Maintenance & Landscape Technician, you’ll help maintain residential and commercial properties throughout Madison County. Every day is different, and you’ll work with professional equipment while learning valuable skills in lawn care and landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and edge residential and commercial lawns
- Operate zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other lawn equipment
- Perform seasonal cleanups, including leaf removal
- Assist with mulch installation, landscape bed maintenance, and planting
- Help with aeration and overseeding projects
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work efficiently with crew members to complete daily schedules
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Landscaping or lawn care experience is a plus, but not required—we’re willing to train motivated individuals.
